21.08.2023 - 28.08.2023
On 21st of august in Võru, Estonia, a group of youngsters started a program which is called Leadership, 2023. It was a really effective and intensive programme. The organizers were Paul from the United Kingdom, Martha from Estonia and Tamta from Georgia.
The 1st day we got familiar with each other, to get to know each other well. Then we talked about what leadership is, why it is important. What are the challenges of future leadership? What skills are being required to develop leadership.
The role of coaching, counseling and leading were the main topics.
Having a very clear understanding and belief in self will allow you to achieve all of the following.
- Manage our impact
- Articulate who you are and what you are about
- Connect your abilities to the reputation you have and want
- Identify areas in which you may need to manage yourself more effectively
- Identify areas in which you may need to develop
- Differentiate yourself from others
- Understanding who you are and what you stand for will enable you to communicate this confidently and concurrently, and thus build trust.
Potential development helps to identify the key development actions which we can take to develop the effectiveness of our personal style.
Then we explored the MBTI tool, the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator which is an introspective self-report questionnaire aimed to indicate different psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.
The day ended with the cultural evening where all the participating countries presented their culture. It was really an inclusive and productive day and the start of the program.
The training course also included outdoor activities and games, non-formal networking, coaching workshops which were very practical and intended for both team building and personal brand development.
On the 24th of August our great team visited to Tartu, European Capital of Culture.
The arts of survival, or “ellujäämise kunstid” in Estonian, is the artistic concept of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024. The arts of survival are the knowledge, skills and values that will help youth to lead a good life in the future.

After this, we tried to explore the city visiting different places such as The University of Tartu, Botanical garden, and many others.
In the evening we had such a nice dinner enjoying delicious and healthy food. Then we returned to Võru. It was an amazing day full of lots of memories and knowledge.
The last two days were devoted to the leadership style, coaching and evaluation session.
From that time we started to focus on cross-country inspiring projects and then we will gather in Georgia from October 8 till 16 for the reflection part.
Keep with us for a bit longer!!! 👌
